Houston no exam life insurance policy

Reader question:

What are the benefits of a Houston no exam life insurance policy?

Jose

Good question.

Even if you choose to buy a Houston no exam life insurance policy, your savings are only as good as how you treat yourself while you have this policy. Since no exam policies are almost always term policies (and if they are whole life then you should be suspicious), eventually it will be over, and being older, you will probably have to submit yourself to a physical in order to get a new life insurance policy.

In order to keep your body healthy as you get over, you need to practice a healthy living style. One of the main things that affects older people buying life insurance policies is a history of smoking. Even if you don’t suffer any negative health effects from this, you will still have to pay higher prices for your life insurance simply because of the possibility of health effects.

You should also do some research, while you still have your Houston no exam life insurance policy, of what kind of illnesses are common in your family and how that will affect your life insurance rates, even if you don’t inherit one of these illnesses.

Houston no exam life insurance

Saturday, March 1st, 2008

Reader question:

Are those Houston no exam life insurance things rip offs?

Lissa

Glad you asked.

Most of the time when a company makes a claim that they are offering Houston no exam life insurance, it should be looked on with distrust. However, that isn’t to say that all no medical exam companies are bad and that nobody can get a good, cheap deal on their life insurance without a physical.

Most of the time, there are a few limits to a Houston no exam life insurance policy.

  • You must be young, usually under the age of 25 or 30.
  • You can only get term life insurance with these, not universal life insurance.

Most young people don’t have health problems, and thus for many a physical doesn’t turn up anything bad, which is why many companies have found it profitable to offer no exam life insurance policies online. Being online also brings many customers for the convenience and immediate coverage.

Houston life insurance for children

Saturday, March 1st, 2008

Reader question:

How much Houston life insurance for children should I get for my kids?

Gloria

Glad you asked.

If you do end up buying Houston life insurance for children, then the amount that you purchase will necessarly be much less than what you would purchase for yourself. Since children aren’t bringing home a paycheck they don’t need the same coverage that an adult requires; they no debts, no mortgage, no dependents.

But the benefits of adding Houston life insurance for children to your own policy still stands–sometimes tragedy strikes, and if you’re child is taken from you while they are still young, you will have to pay for the expenses which may follow, including funeral and burial costs, therapy for you, your spouse, and your other children.

In order to figure out how much Houston life insurance for children you need, exactly, call a few funeral homes and ask them what the average cost is for a funeral for a child. Sure, this is depressing work, but a necessity of life.

You should also contact various counselors and find out what grief counseling would cost for your family in the case of something awful.

Houston life insurance agent

Saturday, March 1st, 2008

Reader question:

Should I hire a Houston life insurance agent?

Pamela

Good question.

To be honest, for most people it is no longer necessary to hire a Houston life insurance agent. Since a lot of information is available on the internet, you can usually get your own quotes and do your own research from the comfort of your home. It won’t cost you anything, either.

Still, some people may have good reasons to hire a Houston life insurance agent. Maybe you don’t have time to do all the work yourself, or maybe you just don’t trust your decision making skills. All the same, remember that you can’t just hire any agent off the street. There is a little bit of shopping required here, too.

When hiring a Houston life insurance agent, be sure to stop by the Texas Department of Insurance website to see if they are properly licensed. You should also call a couple of agents to see what their agents fees are and any other costs you may be burdened with if you choose to hire them.

Ask your friends who have life insurance if they have used a Houston life insurance agent, too. Don’t automatically accept any old recommendation, but along with your other information it might help.

Houston life insurance

Reader question:

Will my activities affect how much I pay for Houston life insurance?

Alexis

Thanks for asking.

Houston life insurance is a high risk enterprise, so it makes sense for your life insurance policy to take note of what you do in your free time when they are rating you. You might be surprised to see just how much your hobbies affect how much you pay for your insurance policy.

Life insurance companies will charge you higher rates for your Houston life insurance coverage if you take part in risky activities. These include things such as racing, bungee jumping, and surfing, among many other things. While you may choose not to reveal these things, you could risk dying and not having your benefits paid out to your family if the company realizes it.

The best way to get low rates is just to stop.

Granted, not everyone wants to stop their favorite past times just to save a few thousand dollars on ther Houston life insurance policy. If you don’t want to, then you have to work harder than ever to get a lot of quotes and compare rates on different types of plans.

Group life insurance rates in Texas

Saturday, March 1st, 2008

Reader question:

What are group life insurance rates in Texas like?

Pat

Glad you asked, Pat.

Group life insurance rates in Texas are typically offered by the company you work for, and the prices are generally very cheap. Depending on your company, its size, and your own position within it, the amount you will benefit will vary. Some companies even allow you to add your spouse and your kids onto your group life insurance plan.

Group life insurance rates in Texas are usually determined by all of the people in your workforce. If there are a large number of smokers, you will pay more. If you have more women than men (since women have longer life expectancy), then you will pay less. Most employers offer you a guaranteed policy, so you can be insured through them even if you have medical conditions.

One thing that you should remember about group life insurance, though, is that the benefits are not very high. It is good as a companion policy, but if you keep it as your only life insurance policy, then it is not very good protection. Instead, you should get a separate policy as well.

Find a Houston life insurance agent

Saturday, March 1st, 2008

Reader question:

What kind of qualifications should I keep an eye for when I’m trying to find a Houston life insurance agent?

Gary

Glad you asked, Gary.

How do you find a Houston life insurance agent? You can check out the yellow pages, online, ask friends and family members. But more importantly, how do you find a Houston life insurance agent who is good?

  • A life insurance agent must be licensed or trained in their profession in order to provide you with the help that you need. Otherwise, it’s just like asking your taxi driver for insurance advice.
  • A life insurance agent should also be certified to operate in Texas.
  • A life insurance agent should not have legitimate complaints filed against them with the Texas DOI.
  • The agent should have agency credentials, such as
    • CFP
    • CLU
    • ChFC
    • PFS
    • CPA

Dallas whole life insurance quote

Saturday, March 1st, 2008

Reader question:

Can you give me some advice for getting a Dallas whole life insurance quote?

Kat

Good question, Kat.

Since you are getting a Dallas whole life insurance quote, then it is very likely that you will be required to undergo a medical exam. There are several things you can do in order to make sure that the results of this exam are the best.

  • Get the exam for your Dallas whole life insurance quote while you are still young. You are lower risk and can get better prices this way.
  • If you have been doing anything considered risky, such as consuming drugs or drinking, then give yourself some time to clear these things out of your system before you go to the exam, although you should stop doing them altogether lest you be found out.
  • One thing that many people realize is that the time of day they are examined counts, too. If you get your physical in the morning hours, then you will have better results, because things such as your blood pressure, cholestorol, and weight are healthier right after you wake up.

Dallas term life insurance rates

Saturday, March 1st, 2008

Reader question:

What’s a good way o lower my Dallas term life insurance rates and save me some time as well?

Polly

Great question.

One way to lower your Dallas term life insurance rates is to keep all of your coverages concentrated in the same company. This is called the multi line policy discount, and most companies who offer different types of insurance have them.

So what is a multi line discount, and how will it get you cheaper Dallas term life insurance rates?

Well, when looking for life insurance coverage, check quotes for companies which also offer, say, car insurance, health insurance, and homeowner’s insurance. Cross quote and check their rates for those other types of insurances, and go with the company which has the best rates for all or most.

Not only will you save yourself the stress of paying for insurance in a thousand different places, but you will also get a discount on all of those policies. I do this and I get a discount of 10% on all of my insurance policies.

Cost of no exam life insurance policy

Saturday, March 1st, 2008

Reader question:

What is the cost of no exam life insurance policy?

Jesse

I’m glad you asked, Jesse.

The cost of a no exam life insurance policy is usually extremely low. It costs you more to go out and eat for one night than to pay for one of these car insurance policies a month. But while that’s kind of tempting for cheap skates like myself, you still have to be careful, because 90% of the time, no exam policies aren’t what they make themselves out to be.

Think about it. Most life insurance policies will determine whether or not to accept you and how much you pay based on your risk. That’s how they make money. But the cost of no exam life insurance policy is low even for high risk people.

These companies mostly only insure people who are high risk, and they do it for cheap prices. You can’t make money that way, because they would be having to pay out on the policies far too often, because their customers would constantly be dropping like flies.

What they really do is charge you more than you advertise, and probably more than you really have to pay. Even if you have bad health, you can probably get a lower price than the cost of a no exam life insurance policy. Just give the health exam a try, and THEN make your decision.
